Enjoy some time with Dad this Fathers’ Day weekend and enter the Museum Meccano Challenge at YorkCastleMuseum on Saturday 14th June.

Families are invited to design and build a model over the course of the day and have their creation put to the test in a special challenge!

Steve Hutcheon, who will be leading the activity, said:

“We hope that lots of families will join us and give Dads a chance to relive their youth. I know I spent many happy hours with my Dad building all sorts of things with Meccano.”

The winner of the Meccano challenge will receive a goody bag and have the honour of seeing their model displayed in the museum to be admired by thousands of visitors.
