Description

On the face of the slab there is incised decoration and lettering in relief. The decoration depicts an abbot wearing vestments and a mitre. In his left hand he carries a book, in his right a crozier. He is flanked by two university doctor caps.

Carved with the figure of Abbot Thomas Spofford and an inscription around two sides.
