Activities for children aged two to five years old which include songs, stories, games and craft activities. Sessions are based on familiar preschool play areas, which are enhanced to help children learn about the museum’ collections and exhibitions through play. In response to the exhibition, Sounds Like Her, join local photomontage artist, Adele Karmazyn, and find your creative voice through the medium of collage.
Using 19th century photographs, scanned images, textures and drawings, take inspiration from Adele’s collection and create a multi-layered image.
19th Century women feature strongly in Adele’s work, playfully bringing in various objects and scenery to create a surreal, dreamlike image, taking you to another place and time.
