Sampler, unframed. Worked on canvas in silk thread cross stitch. Large, floral border in pink, purple and orange. At the top are three rows of alphabet with the letters worked alternately in yellow and blue. Purple and green floral design. Beneath is a moral verse within a green zig zag border. Below that are two rows of alphabet in green and pink. Two large baskets of flowers flank the worker's name and age which are within a blue border.
