Copper alloy jug with turned body and trilobed rim decorated with beading and egg and dart. Attached handle held in place with three rivets to the neck and one to the body. The bottom of the handle is decorated with a bearded and moustachioed face with upturned pig-like nose wearing a helmet and with short horns. This may represent Bacchus, god of wine. This jug was used to pour libations during festivals and feasts.
