Description

Decorative stone fragment with a medium-relief sculpture of an infnatry soldier. He is wearing a round helmet with nose-piece and cheek-guards and a knee-length tunic (possibly chain-mail). His feet are missing. In both hands, and resting on his right shoulder, he is holding a possible banner. A semi-circular ring surrounds his head identifying him as a saint or crusader.
