- A view looking down the Ouse towards Ouse Bridge; on the left Saint William's Chapel, extreme left the tall spire of Saint Mary's; a masted ship is moored near to the bridge, and small boats are manned on the water. Verso: a collector's stamp and a pencil line drawing of a bay, or plane. Cliffs to the left foreground and distance, both left and right: figures standed and mounted on horseback, lower right. A line of tents and temporary structures in the middle distance, traversing the image.
