Blade in three pieces which have been rivetted together in modern times. There may in fact be more than one sword blade. The first portion of the blade has a rounded head with two incomplete rivet holes for attaching a handle, the shoulders curve smoothly into the rest of the blade. The second portion of the blade is larger and heavier, it shows clear clean tool marks in various areas of its edge as well as some damage which may be the result of atempts to improve the fit with other parts of the blade, Otherwise however it is in good condition. The third portion is from a leafshaped blade with a smooth central plane. The tip is missing and the end of the blade is bent upward, there are also numerous chips in the cutting edges. All the blades are damaged at the surface where the joins have been filed and some attempts have been made to fill the joints.
