Prepare for silliness, stories and urgent shopping as our Kirkgate characters and York Castle Museum celebrate the New Year with our fantastic museum trail.

Two slightly madcap Victorian characters will be on Kirkgate. Short scenes take place, each concerning a story or a bit of fun about objects to be purchased from the shops of Kirkgate.

New for Easter 2025: Step back into the 1960s for another exciting Tales from the Trail story. Details coming soon!
