Green Father Christmas

Father Christmas will be at York Castle Museum every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday from 15 November until Christmas Eve, with performances throughout the day.
A figure the Victorians may have known well, Father Christmas at the Castle Museum will be the green-clad, white-bearded man known for bringing fun and jollity to Christmas, talking of food, feasting, games, dancing and songs as well as his many different guises, companions and transport across the world!
Visitors will be welcome to join in for fun, silliness and how to show kindness to friends and strangers over the festive period.
Suitable for all ages.
Times will be advertised at the museum on the day.
Please note this is not a meet Santa experience.
