Christopher Cook: An Artist’s Talk
Christopher Cook: An Artist’s Talk – Sat 12 Oct 2019
Christopher Cook is an artist and writer based in Devon. His current body of paintings, made in liquid graphite, considers the 17th Century Dutch Still Life tradition from a contemporary viewpoint, and a work from the series won the 2018 New Light prize. York Art Gallery has commissioned Chris to produce new work in response to the still-life paintings in its collection, which are featured in the exhibition, Making a Masterpiece: Bouts and Beyond. Join him on Gallery alongside his work as he discusses his working practise, methods and inspiration.
Included in admission. No need to book.
